Stanley “Stan” Takeshi Fujimoto, 71, of Aurora Colo., formerly of Honokaa, died Jan. 30 at home. He was a United Airlines retiree, a U.S. Army sergeant and Vietnam War veteran and 1969 graduate of Honokaa High School Class of 1969. Celebration of life 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Honokaa Hongwaji Hall, 45-516 Lehua St. No koden (monetary gifts); face masks recommended. Survived by son, Sean Fujimoto of Denver; daughter, Lindsey (Jon) Mullica of Parker, Colo.; mother, Fujie Fujimoto of Honokaa, brothers, Scott (Ilima) Fujimoto and Wesley (Audrey) Fujimoto of Honokaa; a grandson; three aunts; nieces, nephews and cousins. Setsumi “Sets” Kimura, 94, of Hilo died May 31 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker. Private services. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Wilfred “Hayashi” Marquez, 76, of Hilo died June 19, 2022, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kohala, he was a chief operator for Hawaii American Water Co. at Mauna Lani Hotel, member of Fil-Am Golf Club and U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War. Celebration of life 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at Kamehameha Park Recreation Center in Kapaau. Casual attire.
